The Florida Infectious Disease Forum is one of what we hope to be many Infectious Disease Forums across our country and the world.
Family members of victims of Hospital Acquired Infections have come together to share our experiences and knowledge with others who are finding out they or their loved ones are infected.
Hospitals are not required to report these HAI’s and often do not even tell the patient or the family what they have.
These pathogens are contagious and little is done to contain them.
